    p.s. so far for shamanic( - ish) art techniques, i have come up with automatic drawing - engaging your mind with the subconscious/inner world...
    automatic writing - used as text in art or as inspiration for art...
    chance excersises - to try to engage subconscious...
    as you can see i'm not doing too well with my research so i could really use some help!

    hello artists! I am studying for a fine art degree and I am writing my dissertation on the artist as shaman (don't really have a title/angle yet) I am looking for artists who use shamanic techniques or practices in creating their art, or artists who consider themselves shaman(s?) or anyone who has an opinion on the topic in general. basically i want to interview a few people via email or chat, on their art practice and how/if they consider it shamanic in any way! also would just be really interested in chatting to anyone who has any ideas about how artists can use shamanic techniques and what those techniques might be...
