Man! I have always had an issue with north vs south, in that I have always felt like I was facing/going north when the map said south, and vice versa. I really like this perspective. You're right, who does say that north has to be on top? Just because we are told that doesn't make it true; as we all here can grok, not all that we have been told our whole lives has come up true... Nice one Reset!

Whoa... Why does that feel so comfortable to look at? A tree upside down is is an, but this doesn't seem weird at all.

Maybe the world is top-heavy... If one rolled a ball that had more mass on top then it would end up 'upside-down'... A sturdy base just makes more sense.

Yeah, I was just thinkin' out loud, but I'm gonna hit 'post' anyway. :)

I was surprised to see other people saying what I was thinking on here. It would be interesting to wear this around on a t-shirt just to see peoples' reactions.

    Right on Herb Guy!

Found "upside down" maps a while ago and just dig how they are a perfect example of how people are locked into rigid belief structures that really have no basis.

If this was a flash card and you held it up to your average Terran for a second how many do you think would recognize it as their home planet? Would work better as a satillite image with no borders but you probably get what I'm getting

Went for a high quality image incase anyone wants to right click on it and save it. Otherwise they aren't to hard to find!

Glad I'm not alone in the thought...Love you guys!
